RecipeThing is a web application that lets users save, tag and share their own recipes. It features a menu planner and an automatic shopping list. RecipeThing, which is still in beta release, already has some 1,700 users with more than 6,500 recipes. Katherine developed the site in Ruby on Rails and created the HTML and CSS, working with designer Jason Resh of Silver Penny Studio to create the overall look and feel.
